I spend a lot of time surfing shops in Orlando because, well, that where I live, and bookstores will be high on my list of fun to go shopping and spend a few hours. The other day I met my mother for lunch and decided to drop in Barnes & Noble, because I have not too close to my house. When I check-out with my purchases, the cashier pointed out that the business angle of the new readers, an electronic reading device "gadget debut would be."
That caught my attentionbecause I had just given implementation of the Kindle on my Christmas list this year. You know how it is when you log in to Amazon, you can always see the advertising for its electronic reader right in your face, and finally subjected to brainwashing, you will decide where you suddenly, you MUST have one of the (name of the new gadget here ). That is what has happened to me with a Kindle, I think. And I will be honest with you, I really did not know a lot about them.
So when I heard about the cornerReaders asked that B & N is about to unveil, I put the check-out lady, ask questions, and then when I got home I decided to check it out on the website. I have been pleasantly surprised to see that it actually seems more features than Kindle.
So here's the Lowdown. Both have shown 6 – inch screen, so they are easily readable, you can adjust the text size with the two devices, and both have 2 GB of memory, the ability to scroll and browse through ebooks, speaker, headphone jack,Battery of similar weight, software updates, quick page turn, synchronized with hard keys to read the last page between the devices and the ability to read your books on multiple devices.
But here is what you on the corner of readers who do not get on the "other readers available." Color touch screen, touch controls and navigation skills, library view book cover, Wi-Fi, free Wi-Fi at Barnes & Noble stores, expandable memory, more than one million titles, more than half a million free eBooks, exclusive content at B & N, just download and sync to read PDF (very helpful), notes between devices, "LendMe technology" which is where you books, between angles, iPhone, iPod touch, Blackberry, can share PC and Mac, and a replaceable battery.
Sounds good, right? I was impressed. Moreover, and this is really important, you can try Barnes and Noble and the angles in person. You can keep it in your hand. Studies have shown that this allows buyers to take a decision that is the keyfor a purchase decision. You can sell much more if the person can see as well as a connection.
I must say that I'm in the corner of readers interested and to be honest, I find it really wins in head-to-head race with Kindle in a landslide. Of course I have not from the actual device yet, but it is in the shops are at the end of November (so I was told) attempts. So if you have an e-reader, you should check the corner, if they are available to be considered, either for yourself or perhaps as a gift.
